Chiefs wide receivers held without a TD for entire season

2014 wasn't exactly the year of the wide receiver in Kansas City.
With the position group held out of the end zone in Sunday's season-finale against the San Diego Chargers, the Chiefs have now become the first NFL team since the 1964 New York Giants to go an entire season without a touchdown from a wide receiver.
Taking into consideration the pass-oriented state of today's game, the Chiefs' inability to score even one touchdown is rather puzzling.
Dwayne Bowe did manage to get close on Sunday, but a goal-line fumble recovered by tight end Travis Kelce for the score appropriately summed up the struggles the Chiefs' wideouts have experienced throughout the year.
