Report: Gary Kubiak to be Broncos' top candidate if willing to interview

It remains to be seen whether Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak will interview for the Denver Broncos' head-coaching vacancy, but it just may be his job for the taking.

Should Kubiak accept the Broncos' request for an interview, he would immediately become the top candidate for the position, according to The Denver Post's Mike Klis.

Kubiak has recently declined interviews for other head-coaching jobs around the league - insisting he wants to remain in his current position with the Ravens - but there seems to be a possibility that the opportunity with the Broncos could entice him.

Kubiak has a long history with the organization, having been a quarterback on the team from 1983-91 and serving as the offensive coordinator for 11 seasons (1995-2005).

Just one season removed from his eight-year tenure as the Houston Texans' head coach, Kubiak's impressive work with the Ravens has quickly made him a candidate for another lead job.
