Ravens' Clausen to start vs. Seahawks; Schaub, Gillmore inactive
The Baltimore Ravens are turning to their third-string quarterback for a matchup with one of the league's top defenses Sunday afternoon.
Jimmy Clausen will get the start against the Seattle Seahawks as Matt Schaub is inactive as he continues to deal with a chest injury suffered last week.
Schaub missed each of the Ravens' three practices this week before being listed as questionable on Friday's injury report. Bryn Renner will be elevated to the No. 2 quarterback role with Schaub out for the game.
Clausen, who joined the Ravens following the season-ending injury to Joe Flacco, started one game earlier this season for the Chicago Bears.
That opportunity came against the same Seahawks club back in Week 3, where he completed just 9-of-17 passes for 63 yards in a 26-0 loss.
Tight end Crockett Gillmore is also inactive after missing the entire week's practice due to a back injury. Rookie Maxx Williams will likely start in his absence.
