Colorado Avalanche winger Jonathan Drouin is week-to-week with an upper-body injury, head coach Jared Bednar announced Wednesday, per the Denver Gazette's Evan Rawal.

Drouin had just returned to the lineup less than two weeks ago after missing 16 games with an injury he suffered in the season opener.

The 29-year-old scored a pair of goals and logged 23:37 in his last game Saturday against the Florida Panthers. He's now up to four points in five games this season.

Drouin enjoyed a bounce-back 56-point season in 2023-24 upon joining the Avalanche on a one-year deal in free agency. He re-signed on another one-year, $2.5-million deal in July.

The Avalanche recalled Ivan Ivan, Nikolai Kovalenko, and Chase Bradley from the AHL on Wednesday.
