Zegras wins WJHC MVP, headlines tournament All-Star team

American forward Trevor Zegras was named the most valuable player of the 2021 World Junior Championship moments after his country claimed the gold medal over Canada.
Zegras led the tournament with 18 points in seven games. His dominant effort marks the second-most points ever produced by a U.S. player in a single tournament. His cumulative total (27) from this year and the 2020 tourney matched Jordan Schroeder's all-time American record.
Zegras was also added to the tournament All-Star team, which is voted on by the media. Here are the players who earned the honor:
