New York Yankees infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. said he's "100%" certain he'll be able to return from the injured list in 10 days after suffering a left elbow sprain, according to Erik Boland of Newsday.

Chisholm added he hasn't felt pain in his elbow since sustaining the injury Monday against the Chicago White Sox.

The Yankees reached out to multiple doctors for opinions, and rest and rehab were recommended instead of surgery for the 26-year-old, reports the New York Post's Jon Heyman.

Chisholm was placed on the IL on Wednesday after sustaining a UCL injury following a headfirst slide.

The 2022 All-Star initially said he wasn't "super concerned" about his elbow, but he underwent an MRI and was subsequently placed on the IL.

Acquired from the Miami Marlins before the trade deadline, Chisholm was off to a strong start with the Yankees, posting a 1.062 OPS (189 OPS+) with seven home runs, 11 RBIs, and five steals in 14 games.
