Chisholm not sweating Royals after Game 2 loss: 'They just got lucky'
Jazz Chisholm Jr. is still feeling confident after the New York Yankees dropped Game 2 of the ALDS to the Kansas City Royals.
"It still feels the same that we're gonna win it," Chisholm said postgame, according to Jomboy Media. "I don't feel like anybody feels any different. We're gonna go out there and do our thing still. We still don't feel like any team is better than us. We had a lot of missed opportunities tonight, so they just got lucky."
The Yankees had just one hit in six at-bats with runners in scoring position and left eight runners on base in Monday's 4-2 loss.
Chisholm hit his first career postseason home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to cut Kansas City's lead to two runs.
The two teams will have an off day on Tuesday before the series shifts to Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City for Game 3 on Wednesday.
"The boys are pumped up, excited," Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge said, according to Yes Network. "They're definitely disappointed after this loss, but I think it definitely fired the guys up."
