Major League Baseball announced the schedule and start times for the first few days of the upcoming League Championship Series.

Dates and times were only announced for Games 1 through 3 in the NLCS and Games 1 and 2 of the ALCS.

The NLCS will feature the New York Mets taking on either the Los Angeles Dodgers or San Diego Padres, with home-field advantage belonging to whichever NL West club wins Friday's tie-breaking Game 5.

The AL matchup has yet to be determined: Either the Cleveland Guardians or Detroit Tigers will take on the New York Yankees or Kansas City Royals. As the AL's No. 1 seed, the Yankees will have home-field advantage in the ALCS regardless of opponent, while the sixth-seeded Tigers would begin on the road in any scenario. A Guardians-Royals ALCS would open in Cleveland.
