Why Ramírez's No. 1: It's pretty much a given Ramírez will be the top third baseman taken in drafts every year. The Guardians slugger has consistently put up strong numbers for nearly a decade and took it to a new level in 2024, when he finished third in the majors in RBIs, fourth in steals, sixth in homers, and seventh in runs scored.

Player worth reaching for: Caminero is one of the most intriguing fantasy players of 2025. He looked fairly average during a 43-game sample size last season, but the bat speed and barrel potential are eye-popping enough to think he could do damage hitting in the heart of Tampa Bay's lineup. Steamer thinks the 21-year-old is capable of hitting 29 homers, scoring 80 runs, and adding 93 RBIs this season.

Dark-horse pick: Garcia is someone to keep an eye on in Kansas City. He's going to steal a ton of bases if he's in the Royals' lineup regularly, and even though last season's slash line (.231/.281/.332) was underwhelming, he flashed some good numbers in underlying metrics like whiff, chase percentage, and squared-up percentage. Expect a higher batting average and on-base percentage this campaign.
