Why Betts' No. 1: Betts is one of the top fantasy players at any position, and he's second-base eligible this campaign. The eight-time All-Star is usually good for 20-30 homers, 70-plus RBIs, around 100 runs scored, and 15 or more steals during a healthy campaign. Steamer predicts a six-win season for the 32-year-old, which makes him an easy choice to draft early.

Player worth reaching for: Lowe is a risky addition who could pan out if he remains healthy. The Rays infielder hit 39 homers and 99 RBIs, with 97 runs scored and seven steals during a 149-game campaign in 2021. He hasn't played more than 109 contests in a season since, but he averaged 21 homers and 60 RBIs over the past two years. Lowe's worth a reach.

Dark-horse pick: Norby only got a tiny taste of big-league action in 2024, but 18 of his 42 hits were of the extra-base variety. While he didn't show much in terms of batting average or on-base percentage, his power is intriguing. Norby could put up solid numbers playing every day for the rebuilding Marlins.
