Why Guerrero's No. 1: Take a trip over to Guerrero's Baseball Savant page, and you'll understand why he's our No. 1-ranked fantasy first baseman. The Blue Jays slugger didn't just light up Statcast last season, either. Guerrero ranked first at his position in runs scored and batting average, second in homers, third in RBIs, and slugged a hefty .544.
Player worth reaching for: Naylor was a very productive fantasy bat last season, finishing the campaign with the most RBIs and second-most homers among first basemen. Following an offseason trade to Arizona, he'll join last year's highest-scoring offense and hit at a friendlier home ballpark. Grabbing Naylor higher than seventh could be a smart roll of the dice.
Dark-horse pick: Toglia won't hit for much average - just .218 last season - but he's got intriguing power, which could make him a great late pick among first basemen. The 26-year-old crushed 25 homers and logged an additional 17 extra-base hits in 2024. Steamer predicts similar numbers this season, with an increase in RBIs and runs scored.
