Hamilton expects to return Thursday from knee injury

Josh Hamilton will miss a third straight game with a left knee injury when the Texas Rangers take on the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night.
Hamilton expects to avoid the disabled list, however, and aims to return Thursday against the Detroit Tigers.
The 34-year-old received an injection in his ailing knee last week, and still feels sore.
Hamilton is hitting .261/.289/.424 with four homers and 15 RBIs in 92 at-bats since the All-Star break.
