Bryce James appears to have a timeline in mind for when dad LeBron will be calling it quits.

After older brother Bronny was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, Bryce was asked on an Instagram Live broadcast Friday if he thinks LeBron will wait until he gets drafted too before retiring from the NBA.

"Waiting until I (get drafted)? Nah, it's too much," the 17-year-old replied, later adding, "Good luck ... he gonna be 42, bro."

Bryce, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California, will be draft eligible in 2026.

LeBron declined his player option with the Lakers for the 2024-25 season but is expected to return on a new deal. He's eligible to sign a three-year, $162-million max contract.
