The Philadelphia 76ers agreed to a two-year, $3-million contract with Lonnie Walker IV, his agent, George S. Langberg, told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Walker has been playing for Zalgiris Kaunas in the EuroLeague but will now take advantage of an NBA-out in his deal. Tuesday was the deadline for him to be bought out to join an NBA team.

Langberg said earlier Tuesday that Walker would remain in Europe for the remainder of the campaign, but plans changed after the Sixers' offer, according to NBA insider Marc Stein.

Walker previously played six seasons in the Association, spending time with the San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, and most recently the Brooklyn Nets in 2023-24. The 2018 first-round pick holds career NBA averages of 9.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists on 42.2% shooting.

Walker inked a reported one-year deal with the Boston Celtics prior to 2024-25 but was waived Oct. 19, which cleared the way for him to join Zalgiris.

He averaged 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists through 19 EuroLeague games.

Walker fills the final roster spot for the 20-34 Sixers. The team sits 11th in the East, 1.5 games behind the Chicago Bulls for the final play-in spot in the conference.
