Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter left Saturday's 31-28 loss against No. 18 Kansas State due to an apparent shoulder injury suffered in the second quarter.

Hunter walked off the field twice with shoulder pain and exited to the locker room before halftime. He returned to the sideline in uniform for the second half, but didn't have his helmet and failed to see action the rest of the way.

Coach Deion Sanders did not offer further information after the game, telling Max Olson of ESPN that he hadn't yet received an update on Hunter's condition.

The dynamic two-way star recorded three receptions for 26 yards and one tackle before departing. He joined fellow wideout Jimmy Horn Jr. on the bench after he also left due to injury.

Despite playing without the two top receiving threats, Shedeur Sanders threw for over 380 yards and three touchdowns in the loss.
