Report: Liberty transfer Salter joining Colorado

Former Liberty quarterback Kaidon Salter is transferring to Colorado, according to On3's Pete Nakos.
Salter threw for 1,886 yards, 15 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 2024. He added 579 yards and seven scores on the ground.
The dual-threat quarterback was named C-USA MVP in 2023 after tallying 2,876 passing yards, 32 touchdowns, and six picks, along with 1,089 rushing yards and 12 scores.
Salter joins a Colorado quarterback room that features five-star recruit Julian Lewis, among others. Lewis is the No. 2 prospect in the 2025 ESPN 300.
