Western Michigan will return its most dangerous offensive weapon to the field next year.
Following the Broncos' victory in the Bahamas Bowl over Middle Tennessee, junior wide receiver Corey Davis confirmed to Brian Kaufman of WWMT-TV that he will not test the NFL draft waters, and will instead come back for his senior season.
Despite playing in the MAC, Davis received a strong dose of NFL draft buzz as the season went along. He finished the campaign with 90 receptions for 1,436 yards and 12 touchdowns. His receiving yardage currently ranks fourth in the FBS.
Davis will enter his senior year as one of the top wideouts in the country. At 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, he would appear to have legitimate NFL size.
