Why Clase's No. 1: The Guardians closer finished third in American League Cy Young voting last season after posting a 0.61 ERA and 0.66 WHIP and saving 47 games. He's been good for 42 or more saves in three straight seasons and has dependably stayed healthy throughout his career.

Player worth reaching for: Bautista was nearly unhittable for the Orioles before Tommy John surgery put him on the shelf last season. The hulking right-hander is expected to be fully healthy and return to his ninth-inning role by Opening Day. Reaching for Bautista, who owns a career 1.85 ERA and 14.1 K/9, could pay huge dividends.

Dark-horse pick: Who closes games for the Red Sox in 2025 remains to be seen, but Liam Hendriks has a good shot at beginning the season in the role. The veteran right-hander is back to throwing mid-90s fastballs this spring and was one of the most dominant closers in baseball between 2019-22 when he saved 114 games.
