Why Judge's No. 1: Judge is a two-time MVP and arguably the best hitter in the game. He puts up Herculean numbers when healthy and should still produce well, even without Soto protecting him in the Yankees' lineup. Another campaign of around 60 homers and 140 RBIs might not happen again, but Steamer thinks the Yankees captain is capable of hitting 47 home runs with 111 RBIs and a .581 slugging percentage.
Player worth reaching for: Cruz finally lived up to some of his early hype last season when he set career highs in homers (21), hits (140), RBIs (76), and steals (22). The big question mark surrounding the Pirates outfielder is health, but he's worth a reach based on production potential alone.
Dark-horse pick: Thomas had a down year in 2024, especially after landing in the AL following a midseason trade to the Guardians, but he's worth keeping an eye on in late rounds. The 29-year-old put together a three-win season for the Nationals in 2023, which included 28 homers, 36 doubles, 86 RBIs, and 20 steals.
