Richard Sherman is highest rated player in 'Madden 15'

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman isn't just on the cover of EA Sports' upcoming "Madden 15", he's also the highest rated player in the game. 

NFL.com's Adam Rank revealed that tidbit of information in a behind-the-scenes video shot at Sherman's recent cover photo shoot. 

It's unclear what Sherman's rating in the game is, but it's a pretty safe bet he'll be rated 99 overall. Recent editions of "Madden" have featured a few players rated 99 (last year's "Madden 25" had Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson and J.J. Watt), so perhaps Sherman will have some company as the game's best player.

As Sherman notes in the video linked above, the former fifth-round pick began his career as the lowest rated player in "Madden." That's quite a climb.
