Chargers' Ryan Mathews will play vs. Raiders

The San Diego Chargers' rushing attack is getting a significant boost for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders.
Running back Ryan Mathews is officially active for the first time since Week 2, making his return from an MCL sprain.
Mathews' return comes at a good time for the Chargers' offense, as they face a favorable matchup in a Raiders defense that ranks 27th in stopping the run.
While the Chargers could elect to ease Mathews into the rotation, getting him back in the lineup is a good sign for their chances of turning things around down the stretch.
