One of the draft's top cornerbacks, Marshon Lattimore, lit up the 40-yard dash Sunday, erasing any remaining doubts about his ability to be a No. 1 cover man at the next level.

Obi Melifonwu is quite easily one of the stars of this year's combine. After posting a 44-inch vertical, a broad jump of 11-foot-9, and a 4.40-second 40 time, the 6-foot-4, 224-pound safety is almost certainly being moved up the draft boards of teams around the league.

Ross will let 40 time stand

John Ross put the NFL on notice with his blistering 4.22 40-yard dash on Saturday. In a decision that probably shouldn't be all that surprising, the former Washington receiver will reportedly opt against running the 40 at his Pro Day. It can't get much better.

DBs don't disappoint with 40s

The perceived athleticism of this year's defensive backs was all but confirmed with the 40-yard dash Monday morning. Jalen Myrick and Fabian Moreau posted the top times for the final position group to take the field this week.

Rich runs for charity

NFL Network host Rich Eisen posted a 40 time of 6.02 second in his annual run to wrap up the combine. It wasn't his best showing to date, taking a step back from his career-best 5.94 in 2016, but the result always takes a back seat to the cause.

Eisen's run raises money for St. Jude Children's hospital.
