NFL draft betting: Which team is most likely to take Travis Hunter?
There hasn't been a player like Travis Hunter to enter the NFL in a long time. The dynamic two-way player dominated on both sides of the ball under head coach Deion Sanders in Colorado, earning him the Heisman Trophy and buzz for first overall pick heading into the 2025 draft.
However, that hype has somewhat died off. Hunter's odds of going No. 1 sit at +1600 (5.9% implied probability) at theScore Bet/ESPN Bet behind quarterback Cam Ward (-300) and defensive end Abdul Carter (+180).
There's still a chance Hunter hears his name called first, but it remains unclear whether he'll play wide receiver or cornerback in the NFL, which may affect his draft stock. He'd be a no-doubter to go first if he could play both full time, but that seems unlikely. Either way, Hunter is a game-changer regardless of where he's drafted.

The New England Patriots are the +225 (30.8% implied probability) favorites to draft Hunter. They own the fourth selection with two quarterback-needy teams - the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants - picking ahead of them. The Patriots desperately need a top-tier wide receiver to help second-year starter Drake Maye, and Hunter would more than satisfy that need.
The Tennessee Titans hold the first overall pick, but that could change come draft night. The Titans are reportedly open to offers for the top selection, and moving back without a clear-cut No. 1 choice would help address needs all over the field. It'd also give Hunter a great chance at ending up in Nashville.
The New York Giants have the second-best odds to draft Hunter at +275. They could look to add Hunter to create a lethal one-two punch with Malik Nabers if they can't move up or one of Ward or Shedeur Sanders doesn't fall to them at No. 3.
Hunter could fall into the Jacksonville Jaguars' lap at No. 5 or to the Las Vegas Raiders at No. 6. These two teams have a combined implied probability of 23.1% to draft Hunter, but him slipping past the top four picks is not out of the question.
There's also a chance a team falls in love with Hunter during the pre-draft process and trades up to select him. He's the type of player that would make fan bases around the league very excited.
However, given the needs of the teams picking near the top of the board, in addition to Hunter's skill set, it's hard to imagine him ending up on a long-shot team.
