Report: Seahawks re-signing Reed to 3-year deal worth up to $25M
The Seattle Seahawks are re-signing defensive tackle Jarran Reed to a three-year deal worth up to $25 million, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Reed has been with Seattle since signing a two-year, $10-million contract in 2023. He spent the first five years of his career with the Seahawks after they selected him in the second round of the 2016 draft. He then played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers before returning to Seattle.
The 32-year-old has been a key player on the Seahawks' defense over the past two seasons, totaling 99 tackles, 27 quarterback hits, and 11 sacks while playing 66% of the defensive snaps.
Reed has 38.5 sacks in 139 career games. He was considered among the top defensive tackles in the 2025 free-agent class.
