Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua has an end date in mind when it comes to stepping away from football.

"I know I want to retire at the age of 30," Nacua said on the "Join the Lobby" podcast. "I'm 23 right now. I'm going into Year 3. It wouldn't even be 10 years. It'd be maybe seven or eight."

Nacua plans to have a large family and shared that he'd like to follow the path taken by former teammate and legend Aaron Donald. The future Hall of Fame defensive tackle retired in March 2024 after 10 seasons with the Rams.

"I think of Aaron Donald," Nacua said. "To go out at the top, I think it would be super cool."

Nacua missed six games last season due to a knee injury but still led the Rams with 79 catches for 990 yards while also chipping in three touchdowns in 11 games.

The BYU product emerged as the Rams' top receiver through his first two seasons. He racked up an NFL rookie record of 1,486 yards to go along with 105 receptions in 2023.

Nacua is expected to again be a favorite target of quarterback Matthew Stafford next season. The third-year wideout will team up with Davante Adams after L.A. released Cooper Kupp in March following eight seasons with the club. Adams joins a receiving corps that includes Nacua, Tutu Atwell, and Jordan Whittington.
