Former Colts RB Rhodes attempting a comeback
The Super Bowl is just around the corner which has nearly everyone thinking about football. That includes former Indianapolis Colts running back Dominic Rhodes who believes the time is right to make a return.
Former @Colts RB Dominic Rhodes said on @SiriusXMNFL that he's attempting #NFL comeback at age 35. Hoping for shot in OTAs. @RossTuckerNFL

Rhodes hasn't played in the NFL since 2010 when he appeared in three games in his third stint with the Colts. In 99 career games with Indianapolis and the Oakland Raiders, Rhodes had 3,286 career rushing yards, averaging four yards a carry and had 26 rushing touchdowns. He's also had stints in both the UFL and CFL.
While we wish Rhodes luck, his chances of a return don't exactly seem great. It's hard enough for a 35-year-old running back to compete in the NFL, but to do so after not playing in the league for three years seems next to impossible.
