- Hopefully Jimmy Graham owners weren't in a must-win situation last week when he posted a zero line against the Steelers. Pittsburgh schemed to keep the ball away from Graham, something the Saints will make sure doesn't happen in Week 14. Graham has had plenty of success when facing the Panthers defense, so expect a quick bounce back.
- Julius Thomas has missed the last two games and there are no guarantees he plays against the Bills. Even if Thomas does return, he may be limited against a Buffalo defense that is surprisingly strong at defending tight ends. If you are still searching for a quality replacement, scroll down to find some potential options.
- Colt McCoy loves throwing to tight ends and a healthy Jordan Reed has taken full advantage of McCoy's tendencies. Reed posted nine receptions for 123 yards in last week's loss to the Colts. The Rams are more stingy against tight ends, but Reed should continue to see plenty of volume.
- The Jets have allowed 12 touchdowns to tight ends this season. Kyle Rudolph thrives in the red zone and is a great bet for a score this week.
- There's a good chance Dwayne Allen and Jordan Cameron both return from injury this week. Unless you have an elite option at the position, I'm fine with starting them right away. Allen has seven touchdowns in nine games, while Cameron gets to face a Colts defense that surrendered Reed's big day last Sunday.
- Intriguing options for Week 14: Scott Chandler is hit and miss, but the Broncos have always struggled to contain tight ends. Vernon Davis has fallen far off the fantasy map. However, the Raiders could bring him back to relevance this week.
