- Calvin Johnson is back at the top of the wide receiver rankings… right where he belongs. Few receivers have a playoff schedule as kind as Megatron's.
- Alshon Jeffery is still dealing with hamstring issues, but he got in a limited practice and will play Thursday night. Jeffery has been far more productive than teammate Brandon Marshall this season, although both have dealt with injuries. Jeffery and Marshall are still WR2s, capable of putting up WR1 numbers any given week.
- DeAndre Hopkins is another receiver who has usurped an aging star to become his team's top target. Hopkins had 9 receptions for 238 yards and two touchdowns last Sunday against the Titans and now gets to face another weak division rival - the Jaguars. Like Jeffery, Hopkins falls into the WR2 with upside category for the rest of the season.
- With Brandon Cooks out, Kenny Stills is taking over in the Saints receiving corps. The Steelers went out of their way to remove Jimmy Graham from the game, which helped the Saints' other pass catchers, but Stills went on to haul in five passes for 162 yards and a score. He has an excellent schedule over the next three weeks, starting with the Panthers in Week 14.
- Roddy White was inactive last week due to an ankle injury. With the Falcons playing on Monday night in Week 14, White has the benefit of an extra day of rest to get himself ready to face Green Bay. The veteran receiver was a solid fantasy starter in the four games prior to his injury. As long as he's healthy, consider him a low-end WR2 versus the Packers.
- Julian Edelman (thigh), DeSean Jackson (fibula contusion), Sammy Watkins (hip) and Torrey Smith (knee) are all situations that need to be monitored this week. It appears as though all four will play, but keep an eye on practice participation.
- Jeremy Maclin is much lower than usual due to a looming matchup with Richard Sherman and the Seahawks secondary. While it's possible that Maclin can outplay Sherman, I wouldn't want to risk my playoff life on it. Treat Maclin as a WR3 this week.
- Stedman Bailey has emerged as the Rams' top receiving option after totalling 189 yards and a touchdown over the last two games. Bailey's stats could have been even better, but the Rams didn't need to throw in the second half of their win over the Raiders last week. Next up for Bailey is the very accommodating Washington pass defense.
- Intriguing options for Week 14: The Bills will need to pass to keep up with the Broncos, and Robert Woods has come on over the last couple games. Charles Johnson disappointed last week, but should be able to post decent numbers against the Jets. Nate Washington could be a better fantasy option than the man he is replacing, Justin Hunter.
