Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker, who is set to become a free agent, indicated Monday that he may not be back with the team next season.
According to Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post, Welker was asked if he wants to return to Denver, to which he replied, "I don't know. There's a lot of things I need to figure out."
Welker's stats took a bit of a hit in 2014, in part because of the emergence of Emmanuel Sanders. Welker finished the season with 49 catches for 464 yards and two touchdowns, while Sanders caught 101 passes for 1,404 yards and nine touchdowns.
Now it appears Welker may be interested in a change of scenery.
