The Chicago White Sox re-signed right-hander Mike Clevinger to a minor-league contract with an invitation to big-league spring training, they announced Friday.
Clevinger only pitched in 16 innings (four starts) last season for the White Sox after undergoing neck surgery in July.
However, the 34-year-old was solid for Chicago in 2023, posting a 3.77 ERA with 1.23 WHIP and 110 strikeouts across 131 1/3 innings (24 starts).
Clevinger has also played for the Cleveland Guardians and San Diego Padres over his eight-year career.
