Mayfield: 'I woke up this morning feeling real dangerous'
The Cleveland Browns snapped a four-game losing streak when they took down the Atlanta Falcons 28-16 on Sunday, and their rookie quarterback was nearly flawless in the victory.
Baker Mayfield enjoyed the best game of his young career, completing 17 of his 20 attempts for 216 yards and three touchdowns while adding another 20 yards on the ground.
After the game, Mayfield said he knew it was going to be a good day.
"I woke up this morning feeling real dangerous," Mayfield said postgame, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
The 2018 No. 1 overall pick's production and efficiency have seen a boost since the dismissals of head coach Hue Jackson and offensive coordinator Todd Haley.
Mayfield completed nearly 70 percent of his passes for two touchdowns and 297 yards with one interception in last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and he gets the Cincinnati Bengals' 32nd-ranked defense after the Browns' bye.
