The Baltimore Ravens announced Friday they signed two-time Pro Bowl safety Eddie Jackson to a one-year contract.

Drafted by the Bears in the fourth round in 2017, Jackson spent his first seven seasons in Chicago. He earned Pro Bowl berths in 2018 and 2019, as well as a first-team All-Pro nod in 2018 after recording a career-high six interceptions and leading the NFL with two pick-6s.

Jackson, 30, hasn't been able to replicate that success in recent years. He's failed to play a full season in each of the last three campaigns due to injury.

Jackson did record four interceptions and two forced fumbles in 2022, but he finished 2023 with just one pick while allowing a passer rating of 120.6 in 30 targets in 12 games.

The Alabama product adds immediate depth and experience to a dynamic Ravens secondary led by All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton and three-time Pro Bowl cornerback Marlon Humphrey.

Jackson could presumably be the team's No. 3 safety behind the versatile Hamilton and Marcus Williams. Fifth-year safety Geno Stone led Baltimore with seven interceptions in 2023 but signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in free agency.
