Detroit Lions edge rusher Marcus Davenport will miss the remainder of the season with an elbow injury, head coach Dan Campbell confirmed Monday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The 28-year-old missed the team's Week 2 contest with a groin injury before returning to the lineup and playing 68% of the club's defensive snaps in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Davenport signed a one-year, $6.5-million free-agent deal with the Lions during the offseason. He's tallied two total tackles, four quarterback hits, and a half-sack in two games with the team.

The 6-foot-6, 265-pounder has tallied 24 sacks and 27 tackles for loss since being selected in the first round of the 2018 draft.
